land of the dead, a fun game for horror fans, December 10, 2006
Rating: 6.0/10
By Jeff Shaw
When i heard that geroge remore was returning to the big screen with his 4th installment of his cult classic dead series i was interested, and with games and movies like resident evil zombie games seemed to be on the rise, I was interested to see what Mr. remaro has to say in his lastest film, his movies have always had something to say about the world, getting past my love for zombie movies.

I have heard recently that gamespot maybe placing this game into it's top 20 worst games of all times, I feel obligated as a gamer and horror fan to tell you about the game so you won't misout on one of the underatted games of the last couple years,

Visuals: the game is built on the unreal engine, and looks good to me when being played, as a gamer i do look first for graphics, and noticed that these aren't upto par with games like unreal 2, or Doom 3, but this didn't bother me, as i advanced through the game, other things like searching desk drawers, and cabinates for needed ammo and health items took my mind off the clearly unfinshed graphics , thanks to brianbox games

Audio: the games audio is interestng and when activatng thngs like phones or radios you will likely get some kinda of audio, weither it's an off the hook tone from phones or radio messages giving a little more insite to the undead plauge, the zombies sounds are good, grunts and groans are typical, voice actings is a little subpar, but i can look past that

Gameplay: the gameplay in this game is much like anyothers, you walk around collecting ammo, defendng yourself from enemies healing yourself from wounds and just making it from another area to the next

Onlineplay: in my eyes thisiswhere the game shines, with the unreal editor players can make player made maps, and i enjoy playng the modded maps that place you in the various dead movies, and haven't tired yet from playing my favorates over and over again

overall: if you have 10-20 dollars to spend and love a good zombie shooter than by all means pick up land of the dead: road to fiddlers green
