Reviews A Just Cause For A Preview, October 17, 2009 By Webmaster from Florida, US 2009 has been a slow year for good shooters especially for PC, however, Just Cause 2 is looking to turn things around with it's spectacular action sequences and stunning visuals with its release in 2010. With over 100 vehicles to crash into buildings and parachute out of before you burn in the wreck, there will be plenty of opportunities to see some of the most insane action that you have ever witnessed in a videogame.
The story of the game is that you are sent to the island of Panau to take out a rogue agent which is nothing more than a routine mission for your character, Rico. However, the target has taught Rico everything he knows.
The setting could not be more visually stunning. The island of Panau is filled with tropical rainforests, white sand beaches with clear ocean water you can ride boats through, and majestic mountains. Did I mention the cloudy skies are perfect for skydiving?
Too bad Rico will be causing mass destruction on such a perfect getaway resort type of island. Armed with rocket launchers and other heavy artillery, Rico can take a helicopter out of the sky in more ways than one. With a parachute than can be opened anywhere and a grappling hook that can be used to beam over to almost anything, Just Cause 2 promises to be one of the best action games to come out in awhile.
