View Full Version : Elder scrolls IV for xbox 360 recieves a 9.6 from gamespot, any thoughts?
This game is supposed to be one of the best role playing games ever made, does anyone have it or have any feedback about its contents:confused:

Being the only reviewer on XGD with a 360 at the moment, I'd probably be your man on this topic but unfortunetly I havn't been able to get my hands on a copy as of yet. However, I have read around and it seems like Gamespot isn't the only one giving it a high score... all seem to be in the 9/10 range.
I myself, am really hyped about the game but that is only because of all the high scores I've been seeing. Maybe one of the other members has played it, you might be in luck.
However I'd probably bet that you'd be worthwhile getting if you're into RPG's and obviously, Elder Scrolls. I should have a review up for the game as soon as possible, once I get some cash or my rental place eventually has a copy.

I saw a video for it, looks pretty solid.
The only problem I had with watching it is I'm not all that into games that take place that deep in the past. Same goes for ancient mythology type games.

Ya, I saw that too, it was a guy playing for like 12 hours straight. Looks like some good stuff, I think ill rent it first, along with madden '06, but the game im looking foward to god of war 2, well, and of course the next ff... what i'm really concerned about is the next zelda game, for the ds. What is that, make something for the ps2. I'm concerned because I'm a long-time zelda fan, but this is way too kiddy for me...and besides i dont even have a ds, why would i buy one for one game im not gonna like all that much anyways. Has anywone seen the new scarface game by the way, looks pretty sick.

I was reading a forum earlier for this game, and it seems that there's so many options and different things to experience in this game, it's pretty incredible.
I guess I might try it, even then Shenmue IS the best RPG ever. :P

Well I've playing Oblivion for around 10 hours or so now and it's really quite amazing, I mean the scale of the game is just... wow.
As of now, I maybe wouldn't give the game 9.6... but deffinetely somewhere above 9.0, and that's not common after 10 hours of gameplay with me :p

I don't see how it can be any better than Oblivion on the PC. This was an excellent game and you really did need a keyboard to play it properly. Plus I had my mp3s playing through my speakers and was talking to friends on skype. Much better performance and value in my opinion than a console. lol

This is an exciting game.I am very much in to the historical perspectives, so i really love playing this game.I had played this game for around 30 times now.
