For me mine is the sega genesis,basiclly for its timeline and all of that,it was one of the greatist systems,it was one that had the addons and the games to go with it,you had sonic gunstar heroes and all other classics that could give you nothing but jampacked fun all night long,And to me i still play em all night long like if it was merely 15 yrs ago or so.

The Genesis was my '2nd console' back in the early 90's. Number one was of course my SNES. I don't know why but I think it was mainly because I was only about 7 years old, so the overall style of the games etc. appealed to me more. Before those however, I remember having hours of fun on my dad's Amiga and Atari.

So I'd say the SNES has been my favourite console so far :)

My favorite is the Nintendo Wii- I love it. It's a great family console. I like how "real" most games are. You actually feel like you are bowling or boxing- not just playing some video game.

The only console I ever owned was a Nintendo, after that I went totally to PC's. Just never seen the need for multiple products to do what one could do and usually do better.

My favorite console is Nintendo Wii. It is amazing and real.The games are very much realistic than being imaginary.I also like playing in PC now.

Favourite console would be wii.

Last gen it was the Xbox... But the 360 and ps3 are offering games I feel I've already played before, Even my favourite 360 game is just a art deco version of System shock II. (Though you could always do worse than system shock).

Wii is something fresh that I've never experienced before.

The problem is, all the devs are too interested on how to shoehorn their old game designs which I am tired of, to work with the wii remote, instead of trying to create new game experiences.

Hopefully motion + will change this.

I suppose technology has advanced so much and you have great consoles nowlike the next gen PS3 and Xbox 360.

But I cant help but remember great games of the past from the SNES and Genesis era. Great games like FIFA and ISS started on those consoles and have progressed with technology. Games like Quake and Doom started with them too.

I think they were the best consoles because of the inspiration value alone.
