Your Favorite Games [Archive]

Well, I guess this is a topic anyone can reply to, and might help get the forums active. Just tell us your favorite games, from any console or time. Mine are:

Shenmue I / II
Aliens vs Predator 2
The Sonic Series (Genesis)

and of course, the whole Grand Theft Auto series.

What about yours?

Well first and foremost, Super Mario World and Super Mario Kart mainly because they were the first games I relaly go into and played start to finish. The foundations of my ever-growing interest if you may.

Following this would be the Metal Gear Solid series for the Playstation. It was the first game to show me a whole new side of gaming. It implemented one truely masterpiece of a story in a cinematric way. The games have captured me ever since however, I have yet to play Snake Eater for reasons pretty unknown.

Lastly, the Final Fantasy series proved to me yet again that games can tell fantastic stories and involve you in a way that leaves you amazed. This of course began my huge interest in RPG games, which proves to be my favourite game genre of today.

I'm surprised I forgot to mention Super Mario World. Was that as hard hitting in Europe as it was in the states? I remember it was really popular, but not as loved as it is now. I'm still a huge classic Sonic fan, which has a lot more fast paced action, enemies, music, and a lot of things happening on the screen... Super Mario World is just better for some reason.

I might sound silly here but I love Wii fit! it's a great way to work on your balance and get you into shape.
I also love Super Mario games---
And smash em up race car or monster truck games!

My favorite games are Age of Empires, Call of Duty. They are awesome and they have a strong historical and story background.

My all time fav is Hitman. Can't get enough of it. I also have to say Zelda is a timeless classic.
